Things To Consider

  1. The account gives most of the same details but does add to the narrative.
  2. Manasseh's repentance was only temporary.
  3. Josiah sought the Lord while he was young.
  4. He took steps of faith and brought reform to the nation in spite of his young age.
  5. The law is our teacher to show we need repentance.
  6. Josiah obeys even the small details.
  7. It is difficult when we lose someone remarkable and Josiah was no exception.
